So I’m looking for a new set of coolant hoses for my bike. I’ve seen the usual Samco options and a few cheaper varieties. Has anyone got any recommendations? I’ll happily buy the cheaper variety if the quality is good enough. I’m also looking for a new 998 rad. I’ve seen cheaper Chinese rads advertised for a fraction of the cost of a new one. I’ve bought Chinese rads before over the years and the quality was actually pretty good. Anyone else have similar experiences? The bike is the ultimate ‘bitsa’ so I’m really not fussed about keeping the originality of the bike.
Hi Russ. Can’t help by recommending the Chinese rads as I’ve never used one but the cheaper silicon hoses work fine. Used 2 sets now off eBay for under £60 and had no issues with either. You’ll need to trim the hoses a bit to get a good fit but dead easy.
Good stuff, thanks guys. I’ve ordered some silicone hoses and a Chinese rad. Total cost was £170 inc delivery. Pretty happy with that. Hopefully have them in a couple of weeks.

How was the AS3 silicone hoses fitment. I heard they can be hit and miss, as some where too long/short? Looking at new hoses myself
