Ten cans of Stella, 2 bottles of red and half a bottle of tawny. I think I’ve damaged even more of my brain cells lol
I know right.. what a lightweight I’ve become ha ha ha And it’s all about to be fine again in 3 hours
Well today I have been very domesticated whilst SWMBO has been in Derby helping to sort her mums bungalow out. Tomorrow I’m up in the north east taking presents to my nieces children and also visiting my 10yo godson to give him the next instalment for his lap dancing club membership when he’s 18yo.
Had a blast on the SS. When I sold the multi I thought I’d really miss the horse power, but this bike is truly wonderful. Slower through the gears means you really get to enjoy each and every one. And those exhausts, underpasses and concrete central dividers are my new friends, the sound track is addictive! It’s happy to sit at 90 and gets there quickly with more left if needed. Got home washed polished and back in the garage, until the next sunny dry afternoon. Just been for a Thai late lunch. Lovin Christmas!
One thing I realised rather quickly today was the steering lock on the SS is a lot less forgiving then that of the multi. It was a quick foot down before it goes down, doing a U turn in a carpark. Learning curve.
Currently in Penarth, South Wales, spending time with Carole and her mum. Enjoyed several beers with fish and chips and Irish curry sauce for lunch, several more beers and a bottle of Portuguese wine with a rather nice mince beef and noodle stir fry for dinner. Decidedly squiffy now and thinking about an early night. Another day tomorrow with who knows what to look forward to. Not sure I’m looking forward to the blat up the M4 journey home but hey, small price to pay for quality time with Carole and her mum. Andy
