1198 What Are These...

  1. OK, they're crash protectors on the front axle of my 1198S. Not sure what make they are, but more importantly how do I remove them (to get the wheel off)? There is a hole through the right hand part.

  3. My 1098R has them. I dont need to remove them to get the axle out. Undo the axle bolt, then the 4 x pimch bolts on the fork bottoms. :thinkingface: The axle nut slides over the one on that side as it's smaller. Then just slide the axle out.

  4. :D have some like that on my 749.. i just use a large flat head screw driver to prise em of. cant see any other way.
