When you say you're going to have another go at a chicken and leek pie, do you intend to threaten it again?
And there was I led to believe by miserable customers that our supermarket was the only one that had queues 2 hours to get out of the car park I’m glad to see it wasn’t just us What is the fascination with shopping all at the same time
This morning the wife had a go at me for singing "I'm a believer" by the Monkees. At first I thought she was kidding, then I saw her face....
It’s you womenfolk DB! My wife & daughter have spent the entire last week including both full days at the weekend at the shops. Just finished work for the holidays a few minutes ago arrived home to find an unexpected empty house. Son’s at Star Wars (again), the girls? Apparently out spending the Sainsbury’s points on the festive drink & last minute nibbles! I literally do not understand it. How can anyone want to shop that much? Bet she forgets the Marmite again
I’ve been working today And gotta work tomorrow so late to the party. Cheddar Cheese, strawberry jam and crisps, lashings of butter and on that white sliced shit Yummy. The crisps add a textural difference I used to make pies for a living. Started it when I moved here coz no one else was making them. Well, it wasn’t much of a living, too few people here in Ireland and pies don’t really figure in their weekly shop, just not used to them . Stopped it after 6 years before it killed me. Anyway, I know a thing or 2 about pies
