Lucky gits. I don’t eat anything other than snacks and protein shakes so no Xmas dinner for me or fancy table. Wife doesn’t care much for Xmas either . Dog eats more than me lol

Merry Xmas everyone. Just the 2 of us this year, first time ever. Anyway, means we can splash out. Lobster cocktail to start Turkey (salmon for the lady) Roast sprouts with chestnuts, roast parsnips, roast potatoes, carrots in a butter, honey & white wine glaze, pigs in blankets, stuffing, bread sauce, cranberry sauce. A bottle of champagne. A bottle of 2011 Grand Cru Chablis A bottle of 2016 St. Emilion Grand Cru Christmas pudding, brandy cream. A 40 year Aged Tawny Port. Sleep, eat, sleep, eat, repeat.

Going to be 10 of us with the grandkids. 15 lb turkey in oven. I'm knackered as it kept blowing the gas out.
Much of the same here again this year, just the two of us for lunch but because we then have to traipse off to see family never get to have a drink, repeat again tomorrow and then back to work Friday........Bah Humbug!
