I just love the Morini, The Laverda wins out on name and looks alone. I know all about the build and reliability issues but when you expect to do 1000 gentle miles or less a year its not such a concern. Many of these bikes are attractive for what they are rather than how they ride. The Junior is attractive for rarity value - I know its not a quick bike, but its soooooooo cute! Being a bit of a waif (70kg at the moment, and want to get back down to the 66kg I was while training) small torquless bikes still go quite well with me on board. I'm right at that tipping point on the 900ss - it will power wheelie in 1st with me on it, with my mate riding (6' 3" and 90kg) it wont. With the weight difference between us its like every bike I get on gains 10bhp.
Well I had planned to have a couple of hours out on the bike today, but after taking Nicky to work I've developed a splitting headache, so there's no way I can concentrate enough to enjoy or be safe out there today! Hope those of you who do get out have a great and safe time! Having read your post Hellcat I hope you're feeling better and it isn't as serious as it sounds!

Rear suspension issues too, the rear shock was almost coil-bound, but still a better bet in my opinion.
An 8 mile walk in the country with the missus and finally fitted the new levers (cheers wantz & nelson) now its lounge in the bath, sunday roast and a fight over the tv to come
Another ride out for me. Forearms feel nicely sore, which tells me that I have become terribly unfit, but also that I was pushing it on a bit more today compared to yesterday. After last year (barely rode at all) I am remembering now why I like this gig so much :biggrin: Note to self: get the suspension professionally set up for my current weight, as my little tweaks are not getting results

I was lucky today,feeling up to take a bike out.Took the MH out for a little run,I could only manage a round trip of 30miles and it took me a bit of time to get off afterwards.Great grin factor while I was out and the lowered pegs that were recently fitted did help a bit with the leg pains.Think I will have to do something with the clutch operation,would like it to be lighter action. Anyway it was so good to get out in the sun on the little beauty.
Triathlon for me today :- 1) 20 mile walk 2) 100 mile bike ride on my Diavel. 3) A water-based challenge. The perfect end to a perfect day!!!!
ride to boxhill lots of bikes there including 2 desmolotsofdoshseeiiss , brand new tyre had to break it in i forgot and gave it some big lean fun in the spring sun .arguement with girlfriend then to pub with mates to watch brightwhite 15 year anniversary sasha on vocals is my fav she smashed it .6 pints of ale!! back for half the moto gp well done Cal !!! now bit of shaun of the dead !
Good ride out from Ashford (Middx) via Hilltop Diner to RNAS Yeovilton to the museum. Great day for riding, bikes everywhere and I've finally got some good miles on my Mutley:wink:
Went to look at summer houses this morning, home and measured up the area and then ordered one. Cleared out the greenhouse with my son then jet washed and disinfected it with jeyes fluid. General tidy up in the garden followed by a roast dinner. Brownie points earned so look forward to the next chance to get out ! Lots of jobs at home to do though :frown: mix and match I suppose :smile: shower and off to bed.
Breakfast at Ace Cafe with sister and bro in law then just as I was about to leave a couple of people turned up on 851/888's and I went over to have a look at the sp4 which turned out to be an SP4S so drooled and dreamed over that for a while, had a chat with the owner, really nice guy who's into his Dukes and is lucky enough to have something very special - good luck to him. Then off to High Beech for a coffee and chat before heading back home. Got the 998 out of the living room and fired it up for the first time after it's winter check over and valve clearances, it ran, and seemed to run well so just got to put the fairings back on and it should be ready for an MoT next Saturday so I can take it out for it's first ride of the year on May 1st. Then off to see an old mate and his Suzuki 250 with RG500 engine fitted, yes it's quick and oh so tiny next to a 1098. All in all a good day.
