awesome.... when i was 10 or 11 i went out with a bunch of folk to try and rescue some beached pilot wales... we saved quite a few but unfortunately nature had its say in the rest...
Had a serious discussion with my sister about my funeral, going to be carried in to Monty Python " Always Look on The Brightside" followed by "Every sperm is sacred" and leaving to "Dark Side of the Moon" going to be a right laugh I hope. Might seem a bit of a morbid topic for the time of year but got to be sorted some time and better sooner than later. Gonna be a long time yet hopefully, just a shame I won't be there so to speak but hope a few people can raise smile.
Cheers Nigel, think it's something a lot of us avoid and I remember the problem of doing what my mum wanted when she went when she had never told us, very difficult to sort out, all going to be crystal clear when my time comes.
I’ve told my lot I want a replica Viking long ship built (small scale) put on the river severn, sent off then set alight with flaming arrows. I may struggle with the council tho

Interesting, seem to have broached a subject which some have thought about but understandably very few want to put out there. My personal thoughts are that it will come to us all one day and we should make it clear how we want to go.
