I contend that we are the first race in the world, and that the more of the world we inhabit the better it is for the human race. ... If there be a God, I think that what he would like me to do is paint as much of the map of Africa British Red as possible. One of Cecil Rhodes moments of clarity!

So long as I remain alive and well I shall continue to feel strongly about prose style, to love the surface of the Earth, and to take pleasure in solid objects and scraps of useless information. George Orwell (1946)
That’s right. Driving school and car wash on the left, two skid pans and HGV test area. However, nowadays only the Driving school and the building beside it with the tall chimney still exist. Most of the estate was demolished and now has high rise flats all over it.
If I remember correctly, the three tower blocks top right were students accommodation, the lower longer block to their left were the classrooms, to the left of that were the "street scenes" for practical exercises. Walking down, the next big building was the gyms and pool, I don't know what the blue roofed buildings were, the chimney stack building was a boiler room/building then as you say the driving school, track and skid pans with the cadet school being the 3 story buildings at the very bottom with the northern line tube tracks to colindale to their right. Aware I've now taken this off track back to quotes
