I’d use Ducati Giallo Fly Yellow on that one the red wouldn’t match. Feck it, I’m spraying the pressure plate on my Monster red though. I mean what’s the worst can happen

I’m not sure why you’ve kept the rubber gasket: are you trying to stop the cover leaking?

 

No it was to stop it rattling

 

Who’d want a rattly clutch?

I’d lose it and space the cover with some stainless washers. Otherwise I’d worry about it coming loose at the front and getting tangled in the clutch plates.

 

Or simply dispense with it altogether after checking clearances.
