Rod is listed as being 22.2x420mm. - AVALIBLE £35 + postage due to weight Progrip 717 to fit the 899 - SOLD If anyone's wondering at the weird collection of unused bits - I had a first 899 that I adored, got it just how I liked. Then in 2016 I had an enormous off - and like all good lunatics took delivery of the replacement 899 while I was still in a sling and walking with a cane. However over the intervening years the recovery has not been that good, and I'm left with a not so sportbike friendly shoulder. That combined with moving to a house with no garage saw the 899 very sadly go, hence the bits.. Minor hiatus from biking but I'm sure I'll be back (another MTS maybe in a few years when I've a garage to use - loved my last multi!)
Hi Sorry to hear about your "off", hope you're back on a bike soon. I don't have an 899, but I am interested in the Gilles footrests you have. How did you get on with them? I've looked at the Vario system in the past and they look as if they might be a solution. Do you happen to know if the ones you have will fit other Ducatis (I think the peg mounting is very similar across models)? Alternatively can you tell me where you got them? Many thanks Andrew
Hi Andrew! I got them from Calsport - its comprised of the peg, mount and offset joint. I really liked them - vastly more grippy than the existing OEM ducati pegs, and the little adjustment it gave was all I really needed. I had the 20mm offset plate - there's also a 30/40mm one sold I'll try to work out what else it fits
Hi Thanks - I had a quick look at he Calsport web site and couldn't see the pegs. If you think there's a good chance they'd fit an 1198S I'm interested in them. Regards Andrew
@AndrewS , for the 1198 I'm really not sure. I dug up the part number - its the Gilles RGK-580-A20 set. Did find a US listing though that mentions it. https://shift-tech-carbon.com/onlin...d=886&MODsid=b51ea24fa148410c6f7335ae7fa023a2 up to you
