1200 Enduro Shark Fin Chain Guard

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by MotoNik, Mar 25, 2019.

  1. As per title, has anyone fitted a chain guard on their Enduro? I'm just wondering if anyone sells one for the Enduro?

  2. Not sure it's the same, but I purchased one for my 2014 twin spark and it said "drill two holes in the bottom of the swinging arm".... I thought NO.

  3. The Enduro already has two threaded holes, hence I'm thinking (presumably Ducati Performance or Touratech) someone must do one.

  4. I'm actually only after a place to mount a Scottoiler outlet, so I might just 3D print something.

  5. Ducati sells an ABS plastic affair...more for dirt than rocks.

  6. I figured they might!

  7. I had the Ducati one fitted from new. Don't know if anyone else makes one but compared to other bikes of this style there are a lot fewer aftermarket parts

  8. Did you fit the scottoiler. Thinking of getting one and just wondered how you got on.

  9. The one motonik quotes also comes in carbon from ducati accessories department.

  10. I ended up routing some thin pipe down the inside of the swingarm, and then making up a little bracket to angle the outlet down near the rear sprocket. All working well, having done 7000 miles or so, and only having adjusted my chain once in that time.

  11. Which scottoiler did you fit

  12. Just a standard old vacuum one. Nothing fancy. I think it’s been on three bikes now!
