I often see the term “hybrid” on here when you discuss the RD but what does that actually mean ? Andy

 

Usually has a YPVS engine in it. USD forks and different swinger. A bit of a mish mash of parts, but usually the engine.

It's these new fangled electric cars that pinched the term. The LC was the original Hybrid.

Forks don’t look standard either. Surely the fact it’s ‘messed with’ makes it worth far less, not more, than a good standard example?!
People are just making it up now, aren’t they.

 

Good standard examples with matching numbers and a good hybrid can be worth roughly the same.

A poor hybrid, imports, non matching number bikes and converted 250's are generally worth less.
