I know .... he had a mint RSVR that he sold them as well for less than market value. The shop hadn’t even picked it up and he got a call off a prospective buyer about it. They’d passed his number on the cheeky feckers. I’d have told the shop I’d changed my mind about selling at that point but he said he’d honour the deal with the shop as it was a verbal agreement and he doesn’t go back on his word.
I agree, IMO it’s always worth offering them on places like here and through the DOC in the first instance.
You need to have principles in life or there's no point breathing oxygen in so a deals a deal in my book, maybe next time your mate might think twice when selling.
I agree and he should know better really as he sold them his Paul Smart and Sport classic just before the prices jumped so he’s only got himself to blame. I’d told him to hold onto them as well.
Yes i do agree with the above statement & is always going to test your friendship if you do a deal, but you make it very clear well selling to them the terms and conditions....ie the warranty runs out once you've paid for it.
The thing is inlife if you need hard cash straight away for fixing a problem, then the dealer is your knight in shining armor.
Take a gander at this..... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PECKETT-...689227?hash=item3d9b128ccb:g:UhYAAOSw~WpeC2lX
