Spoke to dealer yesterday, asking if I want to commit to a bike. I’ve declined as I think Ducati are taking the P! Still no more details. Apparently 54 bikes coming to the uk. They have taken ‘some’ further deposits (£18k). I won’t say here how many here but if you want one you won’t have a problem getting hold of one as long as Ducati accept you. I’ve kept my initial £1k in for now and asked for me info and if there is an option 3 price (without the 4 laps on Wsbk bike etc). The market for high end cars (and imho, bikes!) is on its arse at the moment (has been for a while), lots of supercars retracing some of the crazy gains of last few years. Have a feeling these may be available with support eventually a bit like unsold FE, Speciale and possibly Foggy reps.
So I have just had an email land in my inbox inviting me to check out the Superleggera V4 or project 1708 as they're calling it. Login Little to no real detail yet and they will be releasing information bit by bit. However, it does appear to show a carbon swing arm!
£110K? I’m in....... but only if it comes with the regulation @Davebird Wheelie Bin mind.... Be hellishly embarrassing wouldn’t it if someone paid his/her £110K wobbled off on the Moto GP bike for his included test ride and then set faster times than Dovi or Pett have ever done hey!
