  6. fucking awful feeling that. It’s the only thing that stops me in my tracks as I get vestibular neuritis and labrynthitis quite a lot after all my head injuries. i can empathise with anybody that gets that feeling

  9. @portboy its not a scissor lift but a regular lift - the Elevador de Santa Justa, built between 1900-1902 to take people from the lower Baixa level in Lisbon to the higher Carmo district, Lisbon being built on hills. I learnt this coz I went there today, amongst other places. I also learnt that there’s a massive queue to get on the lift and pay €5.30/person to use it, but behind the main lift is another, less picturesque lift, that does the same job, has no queues and is free:D.
Views from below, the side, from the top across Lisbon and looking down the shaft. @Harry Bell it has nowt to do with clouds, did they learn you nothing at school:D

  19. Why do you have three trampolines?

  20. Freezing my bits working in the garage this morning. New brake pads for the Diavel and a general tidy up and rearranging stuff as the Panigale is going back in the garage. It is just too wide for the hallway and the right hand handlebar is just at an inconvenient height :astonished: That means once the R6 has its bodywork refitted, it will come into the house instead although no hurry as the Multistrada will be at MR for another 4 or 5 weeks.
