  3. I am on Saturday as it happens as I'm going for a quick snowboard session too at Trafford with a couple of mates before we go to Austria :)

  5. They seem very confident that they can sell it privately on my behalf after the guy who put down a deposit disappeared off the face of the earth.

    They know that I won't take the V2 unless they sell (or do me a good p/x deal) on the Diavel.

    It is a really great bike but just too similar a ride to my Scrambler 1100 Sport really and a tad too heavy for me, if I'm being honest. Plus I miss having a sports bike.

  6. Well after dropping SWMBO off at Piccadilly station this morning I called into Ducati Manchester for a coffee and a bit of gossip.

    Anyway whilst I was at the coffee machine I could hear the sales person on the phone to a customer and he was talking about my Diavel :). When he finished the call he pulled my bike out from where it was positioned so he could do a short video of the bike and could send it to the enquiring customer :upyeah:

    Keep your fingers crossed for me :)

    Whilst I was there I saw my new V2 just waiting for me, so I had a sit on it and then they took their demo out and started it so I could hear it with the standard exhaust. It sounds fruity and very nice indeed!

    Anyway gratuitous pic of my bike below. I just need to sell the Diavel:)

  12. I don’t like panigales much but I was left a little wanting after riding it.
    It just feels a bit gutless but then I am basing that against my 1199.
    I thought the suspension was a big improvement over previous incarnations and it was a better ergonomic position but that was it really.

  17. I always give 100% in everything I do mate even back in the old days when my mate pulled a hotty and I was forced to take one for the team by getting miss piggy away from her fit mate. I still have that 100% effort cos what you put in you get out in life

  18. You may give your 100% but you won’t be using 100% of the bikes capabilities.
