Border Collie? Beautiful Sorry if you're already BC savvy, but ....Did you see my post (#1084)? There are a few congenital conditions that plagued BCs. In Uk we're passionately on the road to eliminating them. Not sure about France (I've assumed it's France?). Hip scores, DNA findings/pairing with mate are the top of the list. BAER (hearing test for puppies) is also important. Wouldn't want you to fall in love with a puppy that's going to bring distress (to you both) later. You're welcome to PM me if you want any advice/breeder research (.....or to tell me to piss off and mind my own business ).
Yes France. No I didnt see your post... ..so we collect the puppy in 2-3 weeks. Its from a farm in rural Correze, France. Advice welcome but deed done. We have seen the parents though and they are fit and healthy.
Bet you're counting the days then. My last boy (Glen) was farm bred. He lived 141/2 wonderful healthy years. Wishing you the same with your new girl. Feel free to ask if you have any questions
Feline version of your pretty pup....just adopted "Worm" from a shelter...was found abandoned by a roadside, hit the kitty lotto when he ended up here!
This one is 15.........recently run over deliberately by a well known Company's delivery driver. Ended up at Dick White Referrals in Newmarket (similar to the Supervet). Her hind leg femur had been wrenched out of the hip socket. Both the socket and the femur were damaged beyond repair; so they removed the head of the femur and stitched the leg muscles to the hip muscles. 8 weeks gradually reducing confinement and she can now climb right to to the top of the airing cupboard where she spends a lot of time.....can run, but not as fast and walks with a slight limp...... ....Over 5K. Thank F we had insurance and the Company coughed up the uninsured losses. At 15, I was surprised she made it......given that she was run over many years ago and got a split jaw and fractured hip.

Having had pets that have been alone most of the day during the week, you have to be prepared and accept some of this....but rather that than cage or tie them up https://www.facebook.com/286359885626233/posts/500549324207287/
Here is the new rescue dog - possibly 3-4years old, re-named (by us) "Rosie" and hungrier than a fat lass at a wedding buffet It feels strange to have a dog likely to outlive both me and the wife
We rescued our Staffy (Monty) just over 3 years ago. He's 8 now & can have anxiety issues with some dogs, but he's bonded incredibly well with our Fox Red Labrador (Murphy) who is also 8.
Not yet - the 3year old (George) is coming on Sunday for lunch with us, but I'm pretty confident that he won't notice - my son told me that George pointed at a sheepdog last week and said "That's like Rosie"...........
new Rosie (2) ripping up a rubber ball in the park this morning - has been with us 2 weeks now and still eating like a horse - howls like fuck when we put her bed in the kitchen for the night (hard floor more suited to accidents), but the duration of howl has dropped from 3 1/2 hours last monday, to 15 minutes last night. Tempus Fugit this was "old" Rosie
