FE looks and sounds wank. V4R is lovely, but a bloater head on. Panigale R and some change if it was my dosh.
Lots of change leftover from 35k with this - on for 19k with 3599 miles. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/123949226587
Same here. The FE was very much on my radar along with V4S but since track day slaggery was order of the day, sense prevailed and I got the V4S and spent a few quid prepping it. Glad I went the way I did. The V4S is a magnificent track beast. And of course we'll all take a bath with a brand new bike or car, but I'd have been taking a deeper bath with the FE.
The OP wanted opinions between the V4R and FE. Where's all this Panigale R erry come from? I know I've been going on about my V4S but that's allowed. Cos I'm ace. . . . . Now can you all please fuck off with your Panigale R erry? Thank you
My friend is very grateful for all of your input but remains none the wiser. A trip to a local dealer is probably in order to view things in the metal.
Did you fit the HM quickshifter? I've got one, still boxed. I read so much about the OE qs being shite. But tbf mines been faultless. I just carry the HM in case the OE goes tits. So far so good....
I'm not a racing anorak but did Ducati ever win anything with the Panigale V twin? I do think they look cool but always felt the 1098R had them covered performance wise. The V4R certainly seems to have announced itself on the race front in a relatively short time.
Nah that’s just a box full of Ti goodies! Haven’t had any issues with the OE unit.... Saying that I’m only 30/40 miles in but feels pretty slick... What model HM shifter have you as spare/backup? Stand alone unit with module or plugs in with OE wiring connections?
The v4r sounds fuckiiiiiiikng gorgeous with pipes 1299 looks like a wheelbarrow with them weird pipes
