OK ta - I was looking for something small for odds and ends really. I wanted a Ducati handlebar bag but I can only get the new one which IMO is worse that the original one
ive bought one for our up and coming trip to austria nice bit of kit so useful for cameras, phones etc etc suprising how much gear u can wedge in a 4 litre bag and the clip off system is a breeze
Cheers - do you find it gets in the way when riding? And does it come anywhere near to scratching the tank??
I use the Givi tank harness and their small tank bag.Works really well and dead easy to unclip for filling up with petrol.
I have one of these, its no where near the tank, its a good useable size, not too small or big, was great when i had iphone 4, as that sat inside lid, but iphone 5 is too long, but i guess can be handy for direction list or fuel stops.
Thanks Nik = that's a very useful picture - been on that very road myself! I also see you chose the best colour!
Been looking at this myself but have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and can't see that fitting in the top pouch! Also am I right in saying this will obscure my view on the Ducati SatNav which is mounted on the headstock clamp?
Don't think my Samsung Galaxy Nexus will fit either.... I would imagine it will obscure a sat nav fitted on the headstock a bit but couldn't be certain
It looks like its designed for an iphone 4, so anything smaller will be ok. I dont have a picture of the tankbag on when i had the sat nav on the headstock, it will fit, i think i had the long RAM it needs to be angled up towards the clocks, but i was not happy with the position of it, hence why i move it onto the screen where you can see it on the picture.
Bob I also have one of these and they are just perfect for those incidentals, phone tickets passport etc. they appear to be fully waterproof without having to use the cover that they come with and the safety strap which I have never used yet, comes off completely so you don't have to cut of like some of the other tanklock bags. Highly recommended for over 5000miles so far in all weathers.
Cheers for that - was thinking of getting a handlebar bag but maybe it's a little small I think this size would be ideal
Bob, tom tom rider mounted on headstock on a bracket, then view with bag and as you can see you can also see your phone in the bag, sat nav all without obsecuring the dash
