I've never been in one of those and never will. How many times do we see a high profile person killed in them. Matthew Harding, Colin McRae, The Leicester City owner fellow and now this. I agree, plus we lost Hizzy. I’ve only been in one once after an accident and all I remember is massive vibrations from the bloody thing. I thought it was going to shake itself to pieces. RIP Kobe and the other passengers, one of which as already stated was his daughter. So sad.
Bet more people are fucked up riding bikes each year than in helicopters by a massive distance...just saying not wanting an internet exchange just I imagine it’s the case Also a very nice fella on here does the helicopter job for a living and sure he will pop on this in due course and give a professional educated offering as he usually does
Probably had over a thousand flights in helicopters. Last one last Tuesday. When your numbers up, it’s up.
The only thing it teaches us is that you live for the day because there might not be a tomorrow. All the success, fame and money in the world isn’t going to save you when it’s your time. All other things aside he was a young man (well same age as me) with a young family - terrible.
