    Poor old sod, however 96 was good (but not for him).

  4. All the true personalities are disappearing fast. I liked him on Just a Minute on Radio 4 too :( Sale of the Century lol - Anglia TV, awesome in its day

  8. I'm nearly the same ^, but prefer he was still around to.. say.. David Walliams (surpressing a rant on this one).
     
  9. I tend to avoid where possible these so called celebrities on T.V......much prefer speaking with you on the PM's.:upyeah:

  12. Always a sad day when one of the well known folks from our past dies. RIP Sale of the Century chap.

    That said he lived through WWII, and had a good innings at 96.

  14. Congratulations to Sir David Attenborough, who has just become (at age 93) the oldest BBC presenter still working.
