Does anyone ever fall for this sort of scam - I guess they must as these type of Ebay listings keep on appearing.
It's not an S, has quite a lot of miles and needs work done so £5500 sounds about right... Hardly a scam "IMO".
Livin’ the dream!! https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/254494794904
It’s as much an 1199 as it is an S scabby looking, no mot and known vaulters, non standard decals normally means repaired, odd attitude, can’t see before non-refundable deposit. Run a mile!
I've seen plenty of photos of bikes with DUCATI CORSE decals without the bikes having anything to do with Ducati Corse...
I must have seen the advert as soon as he listed it, initially it had a picture of Austin A30 seat cover I asked him wether he had any pictures of the bike, and got the reply “Amazing how many wannabes out there who just can’t afford it but still message !” Maybe I’m a wannabe, I work hard and I’m lucky enough to have a few Ducati’s, was gonna ask him if the cheap tatty carbon fibre is included in the £500, but thought against as I didn’t want to make poor Barry have a melt down. Think I’ll keep my £5500 POUND NOTES, unlucky Barry
don't recall seeing these on the road https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Testi-50-special-1976/254498362957?hash=item3b4148d64d:g:LfYAAOSwwH9eM1PE
I like that, but like this more https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-T...a=1&pg=2047675&_trksid=p2047675.c100009.m1982
Wouldn't mind having one of these lost at the back of my workshop. Never seen a frame paint go this bad. I7I4N1RCQOADUCATI 851 5980 MILES IN NEED OF RESTORATION
Fucking hilarious. A shitter that needs thousands priced at £500 less than a good one. Gotta love a dreamer
That’s an unbelievable ad. It’s clearly a base model with in one picture only, an S on the fairing, other pics appear to have a different fairing, it’s no MOT, bits missing or not road legal, he describes it as an absolute stunner when it’s very clearly not. It’s a well used 1098 with crappy bits of added carbon, a daft Corse sticker & would need a lot of “tidying up” at least to make it presentable. No wonder he’s being messed around by potential buyers!
That one has come across from Japan. It’s got the Murayama logo on the fairing and the Ducati Mechanica plate with frame number repeated on it.
