Gave the ss900 a good ride only for it to die on me once again. Feels like it’s a fuelling problem. Spanner time!
It’s more troublesome when on the motorway, unfortunately. Plenty of revs means plenty of fuel consumption, it’s as if the carburettor bowls aren’t filling. Pull over and after a minute with the pump running it’s good to go again. Checking distance is a good idea though I’ve have to keep to a regular throttle position. Just love these old bikes!
Agree totally. My thought behind it was, are the float bowls filling up to give you an average mileage but when on the move, are the bowls not being filled. I hope you sort it.
if you haven't already , watch "one mans dream" not really in the same vain other than being about a kiwi obsessed with motorbikes... its a doco about the late john britten and the bike he built in his shed....
MOT'd the R32 Golf, lost my brothers car keys at the MOT centre.... found them 45 minutes later. Set up the BT DECT phones in the house. Then watched UNcut Stones on Netflix.... UNless you are into Jewish family black comedies set in New York, biased towards Basket ball and MOBO music.... over 2 hours I've never getting back.
Going through the house switching to LED and smart lighting....about 80% there on the lighting, 50% on the controls and 50% through on the smart plugs....started about 4 months back - leccy bills are starting to come down... If anyone is thinking of starting this is the kit im using... https://auroralighting.com/gb/trade...™ Light^AOne™ Control^AOne™ Power^AOne™ Sense
