Thank you. I am keeping the house here, but planning on spending a lot more time over there also, hence the need to de-clutter and reduce the risk of things like theft whilst away.

Growing up as kids (myself and two sisters) we spent most of our holidays in the Caribbean and I have always promised myself a place in the tropics. I can’t afford Barbados, we rent a place in Koh Samui but can’t easily own property over there so will terminate that. An opportunity has arisen to develop some land within my price bracket and as that is my background here in the Alps, I don’t really have a reason why not to. I have either lived, worked or holidayed in most parts of the world and Bali seems to tick all the boxes as a destination. There is also a Ducati dealer on the island, so that kinda seals the deal!
If it's land developement you are after, you can get free labour to help build it up. when I had a stint of travelling around with no ties, there are plenty of organisations that seek to match travellers with work, for experience, bedding and food, like gap year but less time. I'm sure you are aware of them, one of the better known ones is https://www.workaway.info/...I have nothing to do with these and there are others available so research and cost is your friend. It might just be that labour help you need as you build the future life you both are after. It sounds a great challenge and I'm not envious at all. I would visit but your mrs keeps taking her kit off
