Personally it looks better with it's clothes off. Not a lover of the extra wings or the lack lustre design/paintwork. Plus the red vinyl seat looks a bit gash. Far too busy IMHO. Curious as to the alloy plate by the right hand rear set. Anyhow, here are a few more pics....you do get a numbered key, so that's £100K right there. Ducati's security, namely confiscating mobile phones (since this looks like the asian region dealer only reveal event) must have been shite!
Still using those crap black screws I see. Really is a cheap money saving exercise. Some of mine(899) around the key surround and other parts are in my bin, as they went rusty red pretty quickly.
You mean the one next to the stock rearset? Some kind of noise cancellation to get it on the road with more power than the R as a stock bike rather than added race kit I imagine.

This all reminds me of Porsche tbh. How many of us would utilise a 911R against a 911GT3 Touring. The GT3 is about 90% as good as the 911R, only someone like Mark Webber can make the best of the 10% difference between these 2. So now look at a V4SL V V4R, only someone like Troy Bayliss/ Chaz Davies etc are gonna get the best from the extra wonga bike. Those that can afford 1 will buy 1, but what's that going to do to 2nd hand values on 1299SL's, they're already loads for sale. Whilst the wings are a marketing gimmick unless you're regularly punching 180mph+ on track days week in, week out. I'm not a big fan of carbon wheels, they should've the option for Magnesium wheels at the standard price of £90K. My 1199SL came with them as standard, as does the V4Foggy.
