Did 100 press-ups this morning. Then walked for an hour with the Mrs in the beautiful sunshine along the banks of the Thames to the hospital in Hammersmith for her first round of Chemo. She did great. Took it in her stride. All good. So all things considered, a good day. In truth this was yesterday but we have spent the whole bloody week there.
Just got back from seeing the Christians at the local village hall. Not my type of music but a great nights entertainment all the same.

Our resident woodpecker hasn’t been around for a while and according to the family I have missing woodpecker anxiety so it was with great joy and laughter they announced he was back this morning. I grabbed my binoculars and sat in my favourite chair anticipating the return of my little feathered friend however was met with whoops of laughter by everyone.
