Hi does anyone know the width of the V4 Carbon tank pad. I looks pretty slim in the photos and I would like to fit one to my Diavel carbon but dont want it to cover the red stripes which are 80mm inside to inside I have uploaded a pic Thanks
Had exactly the same one on mine with that very same Corse paint job looks absolutely crap! Just doesn’t work against them colours. Very first thing that came off mine been looking for clear replacement ever since! think I’m just going to order some Matt clear 3M protector stuff and make my own
When you do make sure it is 3M. I went cheap instead of 3M for my matte black STriple and it looked crap. Took it off and replaced with OEM rubber one in the end (it’s a Triumph thing, the rubber).
You would think Ducati would have a different colour option for the Corse The only other one I’ve found is a V4 White one from Motografix, again in gloss finish. I’ve already tried just a plan clear Oxford spine protector that lasted all of 2 hours before lifting at the edges Think the only option is to make my own lightweight version out of Silk
