Just arrived back home from a long weekend on the Oisle of Woight, all on public transport.Bus to ferry terminal on the Island, Ferry crossing, Train from Southampton to Neath, Bus ride from Neath to home magic. Got off the bus 10 min walk, fvckin ell flattened by hail and sleet.
You need to lobby your MP to have a bus stop outside your gaff - preposterous that they didn't think of that
Actually Dinger we have but the fvcker has two routes through the village and we didn't want to wait another 30 mins.
no but the Missus knows them all, always getting dropped off on the doorstep. its alright i don't like her anyway.
My Auntie died today. Mums big sister. Not a surprise and she went peacefully. Not looking for any sympathy or anything. Reminded me of a funny thing. She was a firey south London woman. One summer she was staying with us in Swansea with my cousins. I must have been about 14. Stephen got caught swearing (not sure what he said but assume FUCK or similar). Different times. Auntie Cris got him in a headlock in the kitchen and stuffed a whole bar of soap into his mouth screaming at him for being so filthy. Hilarious. RIP.
After a week of snowboarding I continued my keep fit regime today by going bouldering. It continues tomorrow with going to see my personal trainer This evening my scrambler was picked up to be serviced tomorrow
I did part two of a removal for a Chinese lad from back of Newcastle United ground (leazers) to Leeds early this morning then rushed back to bed (office) now trying to get a spain job over the line in two weeks plus extra work from Holland this weekend not achieving much mind
Just looked out of the window and it seems we have a couple of inches of snow. People have started to venture out to work and then have turned back at the end of the road
With a recent visit to Seaford/Eastbourne/Hastings etc,i've been Googling property prices on the south coastline, with interesting surprises.
Seaside living. Grim and desolate in the Winter. Cannot move in the Summer or weekends for tourists. Have to travel twice as far to get to the same resources, as half the compass is wet. Best move in 5 to 15 miles and get the best of both rural and coastal living. All in my humble opinion.
