Im 36, been riding for 2 years, had a GSXR 600, a S1000R after and just put a deposit on a 1299, a bit scared really
It was £500 for the GSXR600 as it was my first bike, and £600 for the S1000R, as it was my second and I hadn't yet done 1 year license or 1 year NCB, and these 2 were with your typical shite insurers, Admiral and the lot, for the 1299 it will cost me £700 for Ducati Insurance or Bennets or MCN.
44 been riding since I was 21, had a 748s (the one that got away), 749s, 848, and in the market for a 959.
I'm 57 this year and Been riding legally since I was 16 but finally stopped riding my 1199s last year as for me was getting very painful I broke both my wrist in a motorcycle accident a few years ago so the Pannigale had to go but having so much fun on my PP multistrada if I could afford to I would still have a Pannigale in my garage because they are still an awesome looking motorcycle
umm, 35 and just buying my V2. had a 899 3 or so years ago, also had 848's etc. I had my first Ducati at 21, a 748E.
58 so been riding for 42 years, just struck me that’s a bloody long time so I’m surprised I’m still a bit crap at it at times, tried a pani 1299, no thanks too scary, my M1200 is a bit worrying at times but manageable in comparison to the 1299.
34 now. My first, was a 6 month old Ducati 1098S, at 22 years of age.... I have a Multistrada (soon to be sold) and a V4S now. Might get the Streetfighter S soon, I had one on order but I love the V4S. Test ride soon. I think, after reading this thread, 30s is the new 20s!
