  1. Mind you last weekend we stayed in a Premier Inn on the Oisle of Wight, with a Beefeater Restaurant attached to it, the serve yourself breakfast well, apart from the cereals, toast and coffees i made two trips to self service which must have included six eggs at least.
I farted in the bedroom in the evening it was like mining for sulphur, fookin gagging.

  2. I told my Therapist this morning that I was getting suicidal thoughts.

He told me that in future I'd have to pay in advance.

My wife just phoned me at work.

She said, "Three of the girls in the office have just received some flowers for Valentines Day.They are absolutely gorgeous."

"That's probably why they've received flowers then." I told her

  5. Steve, presumably you have to drain and refill the brake fluid when swapping the old nips out for new ones? I've some s/s ones for my 748 but as the fluid only went in there last Sept I'm thinking I'll wait until it needs changing. It'd be handy if you tell me they can just be replaced and there's only a small spillage of BF.

  6. You can change them with only small spillage, wear rubber gloves :upyeah: and wash after with plenty water :splat:

  7. Yes very easy and quick, very little fluid loss if you have the new one ready to fit straight in, make sure you cover the wheel well just in case of spillage. My second one didn't even need bleeding, I bled it just in case but there was no air at all.
    Steve
PS make sure you have the right size nipples before you start, the early bikes up to 1999 had m10 the later 99 onwards have m8.

  9. Not me but SWMBO...........earlier today she discovered from her family history research that she has (or had, she still needs to do a bit more digging) a distant relative that lives in Wentworth who lived next door to Bruce Forsyth. As far as she can see he hasn't been married nor has had any children so she and her brother could be the only living relatives

Last week I picked up a set of Gilles rear sets for the monster off eBay, wasn't looking for them, was just doing a general search for Monster 1100S bits and they popped up, classified ad with 'make an offer' so I chucked in a cheeky offer. Blow me down it was accepted:astonished:. They arrived yesterday so I fitted them today; a bit of an IQ test though without any instructions but they're on. The only thing I'm flummoxed with is attaching the brake switch:thinkingface:. The nice thing is they came with a Rizoma brake fluid master cylinder and M&P carbon heel guards:D, I think I got a bargain:upyeah: and I've managed to get rid of the massive footrest hangers that are standard.

  17. Well after her pissing about half the morning trying to find out stuff about this relative it took me 10 minutes to find out that he had a property development company, he's now retired (72yo), he is married and his son and daughter now manage the company.

The company is based in Hampshire and has been in the family since 1880 and seems to have developed some decent sized projects in the south and south west.

    That's that dream shattered :p
