I use a great indie (IMO) in Welwyn Garden City - about 1hr tops from you. He has worked on my 1198, 749, Streetfighter and BMW too. Duncan @ Bikers Realm. For your recall work i guess On Yer Bike Aylesbury may be your only option. Pathetic isn't it.
I would imagine the rent and rates in central London are crazy money, very unfortunate but all the best authorised dealers were and still are out of London. But for this work I am certain it must be an authorised dealer. Quite frankly from Maids Vale it’s a much nicer journey to Aylesbury or Maldon than Croydon. Maybe you can wait if its a quick job or they lend you a bike if they need to keep it?
Hey there Michael, heading down to Croydon wasn't what I had in mind when I first about the recall a little while back... although given that the other locations are something like 45-55+ miles away... well... I'll have to have a think! I was already calculatedly guessing that Recall work can only be carried our by an authorised dealer... I thought best to check though just in case I'd missed anything so thanks for reaching out
I was thinking Maldon too because I'd previously read somewhere on this forum that they were moving to Maldon... then you mentioned Maldon too... although you mentioned Chelmsford now which prompted me to check the Hyside website for the first time... and their website does say that they are moving on 01/03/2020 to Maldon CM9 6UZ
