  1. Evening gents,ladies
just had my bike brought back from Spain (parked) since November back yesterday
In that time the battery obviously went flat ,managed to get my old man to get it on an optimate for me
Starts and rides fine but I cannot seem to get the dtc activated again ?
Also the units have reverted back to Kmh etc
I have consulted the manual but cannot get dtc back on or into mph
    Any help appreciated
    Regards
    Neal

  2. You just need to reset them via the dash. Setting menu for speed and DTC. They always reset after a battery issue.

  3. DTC should default to 'On' surely?

  4. Certainly defaults to off on my ‘12 S when the battery is disconnected. Andy

  5. If you read the owners manual it actually states that it defaults to off after a battery disconnection.

  6. Turn ignition off then hold the headlight flash button and the select button together, then turn the ignition on and you will then go into the settings mode where you can change back to mph and set you MPG units.

Once you have done that turn the ignition off then on again and then press the lower select button for 2 seconds and this will then take you to the settings where you can tun on the DTC and set your clock etc.

  7. It defaults to “off” for sure. And gives a warning. Don’t really understand the logic of this.
