Today we've been waiting in all day for the Mini garage to call about SWMBO's car that was chugging and struggling to go uphill yesterday after it went in for a service on Monday. Still no effing news as to what it could be :/
Productive day today, the Seat passed the MoT and another year goes by where my polluting diesel emissions were below the level at which the equipment can measure . Quick trip into MR to collect bits I’d ordered for the new to me petrol tank for the V4 and view the devastation caused by the burglars . Back to Basingstoke to pick up the rear disc bolts I’d ordered for the R6, up to Silchester to pick up the rear sprocket carrier for the R6 that a local company had powder coated for me and finally back home to build up the R6 rear wheel ready for a trip to Micheldever to fit a new Rosso Corsa tomorrow. Knackered now but think I’m going to twist Carole’s arm to persuade her to let me take her out for something to eat tonight. Andy
Had a nice round trip to Dave Dunlop’s to pick up the 959. The bike is immaculate and his V4’s is going to look the part when it’s finished. Sorry no bins but literally wheeled it out of the van into the garage.
Tomorrow we are taking our grandchildren skiing at Ski Rossendale, then taking them and #2 son and wife to our favourite restaurant as they’ve not been yet. Not sure what the kids will eat as they don’t do chicken nuggets with tomato sauce
Well the skiing isn’t going to happen as it’s lashing down in biblical proportions. It’ll have to be Easter now. So when the kids come at lunchtime we will be playing daft games and doing some baking with them (SWMBO not me cos I can’t even boil water)
Kettles! That is your answer! They boil water! Mind you, somebody has to put water in and turn it on.... see you point: job for SWMBO!!!
After an argument this morning I told my wife that a man is like a good wine and gets better with age...... .......She locked me in the cellar!
