A Bit Of Snow And People Lose Their Minds

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by Robarano, Feb 24, 2020.

  1. I set off from home at 8.10 this morning to get to a 9am hospital appointment. It is usually a 20 min drive.

Its been snowing overnight and people have lost their minds. It took me 1 1/4 hours and I ended up late :(

    Rant over

  4. I agree. The roads are clear but people are driving as though they’re in the middle of a blizzard.

  5. The wind blew my bin over last night, I now know what people in tornado's and hurricanes feel like :D

  6. In my day job we have lots of issues with weather making people drive like they don’t know what they are doing. Even a light drizzle and people lose their heads! (I will add this does not apply to all people)

  7. Half the UK drivers should have their licenses revoked. There....said it.!!!
The standard of driving and lack of common sense is unbelievable.

As you say a tiny bit of snow os sleet and they haven't a clue what to do.

    Bring back hanging.

Thanks for starting my week on a good rant. :upyeah::p:D:D

  12. A lot of people who shall we say take no pride in their driving just cannot cope with anything out if the ordinary on their day to day journey.
If there was a test to use a toaster, most of them would fail that.

  17. It could be me as Google inundates with me with ads. Now, it's Peloton telling me how to cycle - "except nothing but you best...". To me, there seems to be a growing culture where you have to be told what to do - like cycling. So, if the weather in any click away from normal than people need to be told what to do and if there is nobody to do that then you just stop in a state of confusion... or blindly follow the vehicle in front so that if it drives into a river then so do you...
