Static Tyre Balancer

I change/balance my own (Not done the rear on the Ducati Hub). I recently read on a classic bike forum that wheels can be balanced insitu, just so long as the brakes don't drag & the chain is removed, so that the wheel spins freely.

I mean't to try it recently but forgot.

 

Might be good enough...On bikes made when acetylene lights were on the optional extras list

 

My old girl has rim locks which must weigh half a kilo, so not much point anyway....

I will one day try it on one of my other bikes, just to silence the doubters!
