Let's hope he can pull it off this year,at first i didn't like him with his mannerisms, but he has grown on me over the years with his dedications.
My opinion of him changed after reading his book, very funny chap who has been through so much. As usual I’ll be cheering him on from some hedgerow whilst on the Island. He’s won riding for nigh on every major manufacturer, lets hope Ducati is next. I’m sure Hickey will have something to say about that.
He said the BMW he won on in 2014 was an absolute pig and almost unridable, hopefully the Ducati will be a bit better.
Just remembered: Not only Hailwood but Tony Rutter on was it the forerunner, or tuned version, of the Pantah? Anyway, it was some 600 that he won the Formula 2 World championship on at least one.
Going to be a lot of work to make that Ducati work at the TT in my books. To beat Hickman and Dean, Michaels going to need a lot of seat time. Hicky never stops riding!
