Geoff is an engineer not a bike salesman so I think we can forgive him I did point it out but he said it’s a 996cc engine and I couldn’t be arsed arguing. We all know what it is- bloody lovely
It’s a biposto not mono, after market single tail piece added, from the frame colour & wheels Id say she was right first time 98 916

Not on eBay but https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1143998 this is further communication from the owner Thank you for your enquiry ref: 1994 Ducati 916 Strada. I have had many enquiries so I am still collecting interested parties, and will soon decide who is eligible to be the next owner. As you will know, this is a very rare 1994 Ducati. Only 90 of this model were imported into the UK and therefor there are only a hand full left, especially with only a genuine 15,000 miles recorded. You will not have seen many of this model from 1994. I have owned the bike since 1998, Therefore the history is limited to me, with only 2 previous keepers, one being the dealer I bought it from. The cam belts were changed at 12,000 miles. The filler cap has the Cagiva logo, and the clear screen has Attuglas, Dot 626 embossed on it. The rear wheel has 'Ducati Racing'at the hub. I added the graphics in 1999, and as the paint work is 'as new'and has not faded, these can be removed without trace. You will not find another 1994 Ducati 916 Strada in this condition.
