848 Ducati 2011 Yellow Triangle/ New Dahsboard

  1. Hello, 4 months ago I had fatal crash with my 2011 Ducati 848 Evo.

I ordered parts and properly recieved them, since my dashboard was damaged I had to buy new one, with dashboard I recieved ECU, ignition, new blank key and used dashboard with 14K KM's on it.

When I turn the bike on with my two keys which I have from past it starts properly on, there is no error on dashboard, no yellow triangle, etc.

So I swapped old dashboard with new one and when I tried to turn on bike I recieved yellow triangle ? But I didn't swap the ignition and ECU, is that the point why I have yellow triangle ?

I never saw with new dashboard where to reprogram blank key, I just recieve yellow triangle, I don't know what to do, should I swap ignition too and ECU ?

I have the code card if that helps

  2. You've done well to post on here after a fatal crash .... NHS or BUPA look after you ?

  4. Might have been a 'do gooder' consultant on his break ????

  5. I was under the impression that you had to swap the ecu and ignition when changing the dash because they are all coded together.

  6. :skull:....................................:eyes:

  7. If the dash is new then it will be virgin and requires programming to the two black keys using it’s code card (not the bikes original one). The ECU is virgin and will always be virgin as the immo is in the clocks. Looks like the original dash is toast as a result of the accident.
