  3. description from their site...

THE BIKE SPECIALISTS, TRADING STANDARDS AWARD WINNERS, Here we have for sale our unique and stunning Ducati 996R. Our one owner UK bike is number 0009 and was one of the first 996R's to leave the factory. Our example left the factory late in 2001 and sat unregistered in the showroom of GTS racing Ltd in Essex. The bike was originally supplied in Mark Griffiths Highland Spring Racing livery and first registered in December 2002. The owner has since covered 16,886 miles over the past 17 years. Whilst in the owners possession he has recently had the bike painstakingly stripped and a nut and bolt restoration carried out including new clocks which now read 1 mile and also every panel replaced with old stock new parts. There is full photographic evidence of every stage of the build and receipts supplied as part of the package. The bike is also supplied with the original standard exhaust, full book pack and documentation including the original letters and invoices from Ducati confirming the bikes authenticity, Original purchase invoices, stamped service book, service receipts, lots of old MOT's and MOT history check confirming the mileage. This 996R would be a suberb flagship and addition to any serious motorcycle collection. Please do miss this rare opportunity to purchase an asset that will only rise in value. We are able to offer full finance options and can arrange delivery UK and worldwide.

were /are GTS racing an official uk dealer?

  16. True. If you want an ornament to sit around.

Just IMO if I'm going to spend that money on a bike I want my money's worth, not giving it a polish now and then.

But yes I know, I know, each to his own.

After all Exige has a houseful of fun bikes but doubt he even has a license to ride them!!!

  18. Bit like a choice between an F40 and a modern Ferrari. And I would sell both kidneys for an F40.
