Sadly the teenager next door knew absolutely nothing about smart TV’s or home cinema AV’s so I’ve had to work it out myself. What a bloody faff turns out, despite both TV and AV capable of using the latest HDMI ARC one cable for video and audio technology, it’s flaming well turned OFF by default. Finally got it sorted after I turned everything ON and the electronics automatically sorted themselves out after about 3 or 4 minutes. I’m now enjoying an episode of UFO circa 1970 in upscaled Ultra HD and in glorious Dolby surround sound It was pretty shit first time around and yes, it’s still pretty shit but it’s giving me a good laugh.
