A cursory check with the DVLA shows the V5 was reissued last year so I’d ask why. The owner could also have been a little more fastidious in his cleaning regime, the chain and rear sprocket are dirty, the top chain runner bolts look rusted and the headlight is fogged, all of which are simple to do when preparing a bike for sale. The heel guards are not right, the stickers are not to my taste and what is going on with the sticker on the rear shock. Picky I know but when you are asking top mint money (and some) I feel justified. Andy
Also the vehicle has only one MOT on file, which is very strange, the road fund licence Tax box is in the red zone and due 1st februuary 1997?
You could be on to something here, that 900ss final edition that i looked at in 2016 had never had a MOT issued ever, but the guy used it on the public road.

Nearly £16k for a standard “ish” 748s, I know it’s super low mileage but come on really https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DUCATI-7...045626?hash=item4456068b7a:g:JaEAAOSwZ-ReYKR5
And that’s at the ‘sell em cheap’ dealer probably the owners bike that he doesn’t want to sell, he did the same with a 998FE about 5 or 6 years ago
Is it just me or are these cheap? Brand new Scrambler 1100s from Ducati dealers at 8490 and 7995 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/392710220672 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/164106910169
Both pre registered, both been paid for by the dealer and costing them money. Discounted to the bone to get a sale to meet targets, given we are now in the 70 registration. Andy
