It was great to see so many out - summer's nearly here! I used to go Poole but I moved down to Devon last year and haven't been since. I will definitely try to get there sometime this year, but it won't be next week. I usually lead a ride for the RN bike club on Wednesdays, so I can't always get a pass for Tuesdays as well! West Bay is always a favourite though, and my ride back through Lyme Regis, Sidford and on to Exeter is a cracker
Awesome Steve, I'm from Bideford But work in Lulworth. My helmet and leathers had a good amount of road kill on as well haha:biggrin: I went through Lyme Regis and on to Beer for Lunch a couple of weekends ago, it was a brilliant route!
I've actually moved from Crewkerne to just outside Newton Abbot, but keep coming back to Somerset and Dorset 'cos I think the roads are better! The road further on from Beer is also brilliant, past the Donkey Sanctury and through Sidford, all the way to Exeter is an old favourite - especially before all the tourists block it up! Hopefully bump into you down there again
Small world isn't it. I was on the Yellow 749s, munching fish and chips.:smile: Which 1098 were you on? The S with the gold wheels and a mate with a Fireblade or the 1098 I had a burn up with on the way back to Weymouth.

Your 999s is rather nice too. I must confess to being slightly jealous. The 749s is sublime, but it struggles on the straights against the big boys on circuit.
