Hi TT600.I am not strong enough these days for old British bike kick starts and heavy old cable clutches.Have decided to sell the bikes and streamline the garage and workshop. The HP2 had a full service and new boots fitted just before Xmas and is sitting patiently waiting for me to give it a blast. On a good day I plan my next bike, will have to be a sensible choice.I am favouring a new Monster 1200 or an HP4 Carbon.Heaven forbid I could also go for a Zero, twist and go could be very suitable. Good to have dreams and goals.
What a day!!! Parts arrived for my project but the sun was in the sky. First proper ride this year. I know it was proper cos I went 4 times further than I planned. God I love this little bike Whilst out, thought I would drop into Chequers for a cuppa with Boris. He was not in.
It is the Prime Ministers country residence, Chequers, near Great Missenden in the Chiltern Hills. @XH558 is a bit further south.
I was wandering through the keonnigsegg website today after seeing pictures of their new 4 seater gt, the Gemera Whilst flicking through the rest of their site, noticed another model, the regara that had a dual fishtail akropovic linked to it's central exhaust., It looked quite lovely. https://www.motor1.com/news/233393/koenigsegg-electric-supercar-possibility/
Well seeing as the sun was shining today I had a run out on the Scrambler to Ducati Manchester to scrub in my new front tyre. And despite there being snow over Holme Moss, it wasn't too cold either, which was a bonus. And I had a blast! When I got back I had to wash it down though to get rid of any salt deposits that was on the bike. Then I wheeled out the V2 (furthest it's been since I had it delivered over a week ago) and took the above pic, which looks sharp as anything on my phone but blurry above for some reason. Today has been a good day
Have you been on the vino today or what,as vverrryyy blurry...great to see you guys out enjoying yourselves today,i've yet to get the bikes out.
Took a few more bits off the 748 this morning the dropped em in Bristol. Tjc designs who painted my bike 6? Years back are gunna get it sparkling again, paint what the have to and polish the rest. Reality motor works ( upstairs form tjc) are gunna do a lil polishing, powder coating and anodising for me as well as crack test the mag wheels. Both of em are fantastic to deal with and will spend ages listening to what you want and talking bikes an stuff with ya...
My new beige leather bag came today, bought some sand to put in it and dried the sand in the oven for an hour in a baking tray. Filled with a funnel then sealed the double Velcro seal. My planishing hammer set should arrive tomorrow
