  4. Think there’s/was a company in s.w. England that does leccy conversions. Always fancied a leccy Bentley Blower:upyeah:

  5. Would you need to take the blower off

  6. and the engine out....

  7. It would still be a Bentley with the engine out replaced by batteries, but it wouldn't be a Bentley Blower :mask:

  8. so you could attach the blower to the batteries? mong....

  9. Yes, with glue  gluemong :bucktooth:

  18. My wife got her iX3 on the 1st November 2022. It’s a company car and got it purely and simply because of the 2% BIK. She had a Polo GTi+ previously (privately owned) and when you factor in the total ownership costs, the iX3 is cheaper to run than the Polo by £1500 a year. But this is only due to it being a fully expensed company car. It’s done just short of 7k miles since and never been a problem other than a couple of occasions of low on charge and no chargers available. Got stuck in traffic on the M62 on the way back from the airport when it snowed the other week and slowly ran out of enough charge to make it home; had to stop in Lindley on the fast charger for an hour. Doesn’t sound bad but when you left you house at 9pm and don’t get home until 9:30am the next morning it’s pretty rubbish. We were still lucky though, 17 other EV’s had to be recovered due to running out.
Came down to Heathrow on Thursday but used my 535d. Could have used the iX3 but the infrastructure is absolutely shocking. See attached pic. So in the main, what we use the car for it’s fine. Wife can charge at work and at home, when they’re working. Chargers break down at her work constantly and there’s not enough now the entire exec has taken advantage of the 2% BIK
Charger at home has also been no end of bother, constantly going into fault mode due to over supply to the house. Trying to get the DNO to rectify this has been a nightmare and still ongoing.
