Brought two 2.5L fuel cans, because tesco now doesn't allow chip-n-pin transactions at night (pumps locked). And I used up a 2L reserve bottle & bugger me forgot riding home & luckily made it back to a fuel station. So now I will carry 4.5Litres
Not sure if I`m missing something here but have you considered carrying cash to pay for fuel and/or using a different filling station ?
Removed old CnS from the k8, using an impact gun for the front sprocket AMD angle grinder for chain almost feels like cheating it's so quick and easy. Fitted a HealTech exhaust servo eliminator for the 'blade for remove the flashing FI light as I think potential buyers may not like a flashing FI light so worth £40.
Decided to upgrade my stop-n-go kit with the deluxe version aka plugger tool. Best price was from MandP & also grabbed a second set of rocky creek tyre compressor & also the inline pressure gauge from adventurebikeshop. Then splashed out on a touratech outdoor enduro bike cover.
Trying to figure out a way of making these good again or replacing them with a cheaper, better option As they aren’t at their best anymore.
Not all today but in the last week I’ve bought a bike (an S4R from @dukesox), sold a bike (M796), drained and cleaned the carbs on my track bike to try and to cure an intermittent misfire and sold some of the carbon bling left over from Project Carla.
Yesterday, after I'd been climbing, I was told to go to see my neighbour "Slow Dave" as SWMBO was having a few of the "girls" round for a coffee and a gossip. We watched some biking videos (including the new V2 reviews, Baron Von Grumbles GSXR greenlaning escapade, and a couple of Alpine passes tours) on his new 65" TV
A fairly long ride around the Welsh Marches in mixed conditions running in my KTM ready for it’s first service which is booked in for Wednesday. Can’t wait to be able to give it full revs without seeing Orange over 6500rpm.
