LOL No, but I was arrested, along with 3 others, by the Policia Judiciara in Lisbon and held for 48 hrs whilst they interrogated us on an alleged kidnapping, extortion, robbery and assault charges. Eventually they let us go but I (and the others) were, and probably still are, ‘Arguido’. We did recover some of the money but not all. I should write a book about it, it was an interesting few days
Well I for one hope he can pull it off. The bidding deadline passed a few weeks back though, so I wonder how things are progressing. Where is Garner these days ? Still living in the headquarters I suppose.

She wasn't wearing a Britters (Breitling) in the photo I saw, which means I am sure there is a collection of watches which could be reclaimed and sold to pay back perhaps a few of the pensioners.... On a serious note I saw something suggesting that they have decided not to prosecute him for pensions fraud, as they aren't confident of conviction. If it's true then it's totally what I suspected but a great shame. These people only have the absolute cheek to do what they do because they understand the motives and gaps in the system enough to know that they can play the odds game with a relative chance of getting away with it.

She's probably a lot of people's 'cup of tea' and as she is probably half his age I imagine the money helps to open some 'doors' with this lady. I normally wouldn't be so rude about a lady, but in this instance I fail to see that she isn't 100% complicit in the behavior going on.
