Did you ever think to get one over the channel? (After all they are al imported from Italy) I bought one in December 998S with 24k km for 8.5k €. Which is a good value for an 02 bike.

 

You may very well be right and I may be mixing 3 cross up with something else, but I don’t think there was an ‘official’ importer back then.

 

Moto Cinelli used to use a strapline that they were the only official UK importer of Ducati (Small print at the bottom of the advert)

 

Just curious but weren’t the Matrix bikes a limited run with a plaque on the top yolk?

I think 3 cross used to be an importer for MV back in the early days

 

They sold Ducatis from Moto Cinelli too. Look at Dorset on the 1996 dealer list on post #150.

 

Nice. An early Cagiva model too, complete with Ducati Racing wheels. Don’t lose that one for the sake of a few hundred.
