I’m cooking the evening meal apparently, family won’t have to worry about Covid 19 then.....

  9. I've just been out on my V2 for the very first time.............................awesome bike!

Despite the cold and slightly greasy roads I managed to do a variety of different A&B type roads. From my limited mileage (40 miles) it seems (and I would stress I've not been on the 959 since Dec 2018) that the handling is much sharper, it seems torque'ier, the pegs/ground clearance seems higher and the ride quality and seat and seat position plusher, if all that makes sense. Added to which the TFT screen is rather nice too :)

And to top it off I had a few admiring glances from people as I went past them.

Can't wait for the weather to get a tad warmer so I can push it a little more :)

  12. Pulling out what little hair I have left and turning the spares room and the loft apart to find the 748R shock absorber I put (hid) somewhere safe several years ago and now have absolutely no idea where that safe pace is. And breath, 2 hours later, it is located in the last box I come too. All fitted now. What a palaver. Andy

  14. The last place is where you should start, I thought that was common sense. ;)

  15. Yes, they are great. I find it easiest to stand on the riders pegs, facing backwards and lean to the back of the bike as I pull the strap. Up she pops easy.
