Had an Endoscopy this morning, after the fourth attempt it went down, Tuesday its ultrasound then Friday camera up the nose to check voice box as lost my voice completely twice in the last 6 weeks and throat is crap, on a good note Mrs Roadtrip is happy as she can watch Emmerdale in peace.
Well after finishing work early I popped in to town to pick up my euros ready for my flight early tomorrow, home early and bag packed lovely jubbly!, then got a txt from no Limits saying Jerez is cancelled!!! So tonight I will be sulking a lot!
So far i have Hiatus hernia, Sphincter, ( exhaust valve working both ways instead of one way) silent reflux Bleeding Polyps, have changed my diet which is helping, My Dad and his father both past away from Oesophagus cancer so I'm making sure I'm on on it luckily its not that Should find out more in the next week or two when the biopsies are back.
Had the day off, so took the monster for a mot which she passed with flying colours. So thought I'd have an hour or two out. Stopped for some petrol and it wouldn't start. Managed to roll it down a slope and pressed the button and she fired up, so not wanting to chance my luck I went home. Got my old SS out for a spin instead. Started on the button, then noticed oil on the floor. Looked like oil running down the side of the oil filter, so turned it off and put it in the garage, o ly ridden it 52 miles since buying it. Third time lucky, got the street 765RS out. Not been started in months, no problem. Had a great couple of hours out on a stunning road bike, heated grips were spot on. Loved it. Bloody Ducati's
The World Health Organisation has today announced that dogs cannot contract Covid-19. Dogs previously held in quarantine can now be released. To be clear, WHO let the dogs out.
Endoscopy is a feckin' nightmare and I refuse to have any more (had two in the past when they found the Hiatus Hernia) - horrible experience causing overwhelming gagging
Started doing a full service inc belts on the Monster, went to change the air filter and found it has one of these in well, that was a waste of the replacement I bought.
Not today but last night went and had my first experience at a vegan restaurant, and very nice it was too. Followed by not going to a gig in case I contracted a chin-cough.
I found this black sand beach purely by chance today having gone out for a blast on my Yamaha NMax. Utterly spectacular and one of the most incredible beaches I have ever seen, plus one of the roughest seas I have ever swam in. The only problem I have now is that having visited this one, I won’t now be able to visit any others!
I'm not a vegan/vegetarian but I have been to vegan/vegetarian restaurants before. They are very good IMO.
love a black sand beach but you have to have foot wear when the sun is out!!! and carry ya dog to the water (if you have a mut with ya) as their lil tootsies get burned and they run around like morons till they work out the water is the place to be.
Spent 2 hours on the laptop sorting my 2 bikes and car insurance. Saved £85 so worth the time. One more car to do in July, my Rover SD1.
Same here not a veggie or a vegan, I’m guessing a flexatarian is the label if one is needed. By changing my diet I’ve reduced my cholesterol level by 20% over six months. I’m now at average, which in a society where heart disease and stroke are quite common is still too high. Luckily it was noticed now, I wouldn’t like to have this in ten years time.
