Ha, no problem with these pin type stands, you’d have to put a lot of effort into pushing it off sideways!, basically it doesn’t happen, much safer by design than the type that hooks onto bobbins or cups the swing arms.
Ok michael, worth checking that the pin dia in their ad is definitely the pin dia you need, they do work well very easy to lift the bike and stable.

Not feasible for a UK purchase, with import duty it’s upwards of $300. The guy tests these by pushing the ends together but all the loading is vertical against the uptight tube. Not convinced.

I have the abba stand for mine (I gave up on my R&G rubbish) it's brilliant, can be used on most bikes and nearly impossible to knock the bike over when on it.
I get the import duty objection but the solidity of Pit-Bull stands are beyond solid. Their products are built like armored tanks. They are the "GoTo" product for all Track Pro's across North-America.
I've one for the Monster and can't fault it. The construction is very good and it's very stable. I bought one for another bike on Tuesday and it's being delivered tomorrow from Germany, which I think under the current climate is excellent service.
My Pitbull stand arrives tomorrow. I have read a lot. Watched a lot. In the end... Once you are past the initial cost nobody ever regrets buying the best. Is it the best? certainly seems to be one of the best. Plus, so many consider it the best I save time not deciphering the actual value against others. Believe me, I over think and over research plenty of other things. If I saved $50 but was not confident it would not be worth it. About your 50 bucks: I've purchased three of these and sold one of the rear stands which I no longer needed once I traded my 959 which was a dual sided swingarm. I originally purchased it for CAN$ 240 ish including tax and sold it for $200. They hardly depreciate.
